It was a great pleasure, once again, to spend a summer evening surrounded by classical music pieces as special as those of J. Fabrega, W.A. Mozart and F.J. Haydn performed by great musicians Raquel Castro (violin) and Yuval Gotibovich (viola).

The violin and viola were the stars of the Sinfonia Concertante KV 364 dating back to 1774 and it is among the most famous compositions of this genre. We know that was one of the most beloved works of Mozart and combines the elegance of Rococo with the lyricism of Mozart operas. Symphony no. 45 FJ Haydn belongs to the period when the composer was in the Sturm Drang aesthetics and it is well known since at the end of the musical piece, musicians, gradually, stopped playing their instruments as a protest against working conditions that prince Esterhazy was demanding. The program began with an opening symphony of Josep Fabrega, our home composer and contemporary of the above.
We hope that all the people who could attend the concert enjoyed as much as we did this special event. The climate we could breathe was truly extraordinary.
Thank you all for being able to make it possible!
